Humanthesizer is an installation for the musician Calvin Harris. Using conductive body ink, they turned 15 ladies in bikini into a an arduino-powered synth through Max/MSP and Ableton Live to introduce Calvin’s new album.
Each patch is associated to one sound and it is triggered by one of the girls closing the circuit through the conductive body ink. The final performance sounds quite good and it is funny to see how they dance while playing the song.
